Terraforming
The least worrying problem out of the 5 (which will be mentioned in other subpages) for human survival on Mars is “Terraforming”. Even though Mars is the closest planet to Earth, the red planet is presently not ready to be inhabited by humans. The only positive aspects of Mars is that will be able to provide necessities to humans such as an atmosphere, clouds, winds, it has a day length of 24 hours and 37 (which is very similar to Earth’s)t and it has season changes.
Although, that is it! There are no other features on Mars that will be able to provide the necessities for humans. According to many, Mars is a geologically dead planet! Even though Mars includes many natural features such as volcanoes, its geological evidence has told that there was tectonic activity at some point in its history. Also, Mars has no air pressure to hold in water and it suffers from the inefficiency of a magnetic field that would shield it from harmful solar winds. For anyone to overcome these problems and transform Mars into a livable planet they would need to take all these factors into consideration.
